What are your products made from?
All products are rotationally moulded from virgin grade polyethylene material and is BPA and Phthalate free. This material is 100% Australian quality food grade poly, and meets strict Australian Standards for food (AS2070) and water (AS4020) storage.
Where are they manufactured?
All of our products are manufactured on site at Yarrawonga NT.
We are an agent for other suppliers if you require something outside our product range.
Can I see your products at your site?
All products can be viewed on site at our manufacturing premises in Yarrawonga. We also have agents and suppliers throughout the Northern Territory and Western Australia. See our Contact page for location information.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cash, EFTPOS, direct deposit and most major credit cards. There is a 1.5% fee to use a credit card.

What size tank do I need?
When considering what size to purchase, there are numerous factors worth considering. What do you want to use the water for? Is it just for drinking water or to irrigate your garden? What is your existing household water usage? Is there a past water bill you can refer to? How many people (and animals) will be using the water? Is the tank for storing bore water or collecting rain water? How much room do you have for a tank?

What fittings are included with the tanks?
All tanks come standard with an inlet, an outlet, a lid and an overflow. See our Water Tank Order Form page for placement diagrams and more information.
What colours can I choose from?

Do you sell your tanks at other locations?
Yes we have agents that sell our tanks across the NT and northern WA.
Water Collection & Usage
Can I use it for rainwater? Bore water?
You can use our tanks for rain water, bore water or both!
How can I work out how much water I use?
If you live in an urban area your water bill is the best guide. Otherwise there are various websites that can assist with estimated usage.
How much rainwater can I collect from my roof?
There are various websites (tools) that can assist with this question.
An area of roof space of 1m x 1m will collect 1L of water after 1ml of rain.
Can I drink the water?
There are numerous debates about this. We drink our tank water!
The NT Government website states that ‘Rainwater is considered a high-quality water source with lower contamination risk than surface water.’ It further states, however, that this is not guaranteed and offers suggestions on maintenance and how to keep water safe and drinkable.
Why is plastic a good material for water tanks?
- It is light-weight and easily transportable
- It won’t rust
- It protects your water from sunlight, which can cause algae in wate
- You can seal it tight so no foreign objects or predators can enter the tank
- It is durable, having a long life span compared to other products.
How long do your tanks last?
A tank should last at least 10 – 20 years. All our tanks come with a 10 year fix or replace warranty.

Do your products come with a warranty?
All Terracorp Tanks are covered by our Full 10 Year Fix or Replace Warranty.
All tanks must be installed following the Terracorp Installation Instructions & Plumbers Guidelines.
Preparation & Installation
Where should I position the tank?
If it is for rain water, as close as possible to gutters. Talk to your builder or plumber about the best position for your tank.
Can the tanks be buried?
No. The water tanks are designed and certified for above ground water storage only. See our installation instructions for more information.
Do I need to do anything to prepare the site?
Yes. Please see our Site Preparation & Installation page and guidelines.
What type of base do I need?
We recommend crusher dust, sand or a concrete pad.

Do I need a pump for my tank?
If your tank is on the ground you may need a pump for extra pressure.
How do I install the tank?
Please consult with your plumber regarding installation. It is important to refer to and follow ourInstallation Instructions and Plumbing Guidelines so as not to void the product warranty.
Can I join tanks together?
Yes. Talk to us about our standard multi-tank fitout or consult with your plumber.
Do you deliver? What are your delivery options?
We have a local delivery service for Darwin and rural areas. We use freight companies to deliver across Northern Australia.
How soon could I get the tank delivered?
Once you pay for your tank it can be delivered within a week depending on availability. Allow 7 – 10 days for delivery. We will push orders through to meet your requirements if you give us a call.
Can you take away my old tank when delivering the new one?
No, it’s not something that we do sorry.
Can I pick up the tank from you if I need it right away?
If you would like your order before we are able to deliver it, you are most welcome to pick it up from our premises in Yarrawonga NT.
We have a courtesy flatbed trailer that you can utilise. Just be sure to book it in advance so that it is sure to be available. If transporting a 25k or 30k litre tank you will require an Oversize Permit. We can assist with organising this if required.
